DS3 – Colonial City Tour (half day & full day)

Pick up from the hotel and start the city tour in the “Ciudad Blanca”, we start at the “Casa de la Libertad” (House of freedom), built in 1.621 as a component of the Jesuit convent, then it became part of the University building; it is the most important historical monument nationwide, since in 1.825, in where used to be the private Jesuits chapel and an important classroom of the University, it was signed the Independence document of Bolivia.
After that we visit the Textile museum ASUR, located in a beautiful colonial house in Sucre, this program is initiated with the main purpose of revitalize the traditional textiles of the areas of Jalq´a and Tarabuco and exhibits the traditional and modern textile production, a valuable collection of Tiwanaku and two rooms for music and dances.

We also visit the Convent of San Felipe de Nery, of neoclassic style with a single nave, divided in four sections, in the terrace is possible to take a walk and see the landscape of the center of the city.
